Returns & Refund Policy

We want you to buy with full confidence. This policy covers problems with your order on arrival.

For defects that develop later during normal use, see our 3-Year Warranty, the two work together to cover you end to end.

In short: if something is wrong when your TQEQ light arrives, damaged in transit, dead on arrival, the wrong item, or not as described - tell us within 7 days and we'll make it right with a free replacement or a full refund, shipping on us.


1. Our 7-Day Arrival Guarantee

You have 7 days from the date of delivery to raise a claim if your item is:

  • Damaged during shipping
  • Dead on arrival / not functioning as expected out of the box
  • Incorrect (a different item than you ordered)

Because our products are professional equipment, we do not accept change-of-mind returns on opened or used items. This policy covers genuine problems with the product itself, and for those, we cover you fully.

2. Unboxing Video (Required for Damage & DOA Claims)

For any transit damage or dead-on-arrival claim, a continuous unboxing video is mandatory. The video must begin with the sealed outer package (shipping label visible and intact) and run without cuts through opening the box and the first power-on of the product.

This one habit makes genuine claims instant and dispute-free, and it protects every honest customer from fraud. Claims for damage or DOA without a valid unboxing video cannot be processed under this policy (a later manufacturing defect may still be covered under the Warranty).

3. How to Raise a Claim

  1. Do not use the product if it arrived damaged or faulty, contact us first.
  2. Message us on WhatsApp at +91 84488 00316 or email support@tqeq.in within 7 days of delivery, with your Order ID, a description of the issue, and your unboxing video (for damage/DOA).
  3. Our team will verify the issue over WhatsApp or a short video call.
  4. Once approved, we'll send you a prepaid return label and instructions. Do not ship anything back before your claim is approved, items sent back without an approved claim will not be accepted.

Please pack returns securely (ideally in the original packaging) so nothing is further damaged in transit.

4. Your Remedy

Once your claim is approved:

  • Replacement: For a verified transit-damage or DOA claim, we can dispatch a replacement quickly. The original unit and all accessories must be returned to us within 7 days of receiving the replacement, using the prepaid label we provide. If the original is not returned within this period, we may charge the price of the replacement. Returned units become our property.
  • Refund: If you prefer a refund, or if a replacement isn't suitable, we will refund you in full after we receive and inspect the returned item. See Section 6.

To be eligible, the returned item must include all original accessories and packaging and mus be in the same condition that you received it, with the serial number intact. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

5. Shipping Costs

For all claims accepted under this policy, damage, DOA, wrong item, or not as described, TQEQ pays shipping both ways. You'll never pay to fix a problem that was ours.

(Note: shipping for out-of-warranty service, and for warranty repairs in Years 2 and 3, follows the Warranty terms. This "we pay both ways" promise applies to arrival problems under this Returns policy.)

6. Refunds

  • We'll notify you once we've received and inspected your returned item, and confirm whether the refund is approved.
  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Where a refund can't be returned to the original method, we'll issue it by other means (e.g. bank transfer) in the billing name provided at checkout.
  • Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you haven't received it, contact us at support@tqeq.in.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Sale, clearance, or promotional-offer items, and gift cards
  • Items damaged by misuse, accident, or unauthorised repair after delivery (these may fall under the Warranty exclusions)
  • Items returned without original packaging, accessories, or with an altered/removed serial number
  • Any change-of-mind return on an opened or used product

8. Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled if requested within 24 hours of placing the order, or before the order is dispatched, whichever is earlier.
  • Once an order has been dispatched, it can't be cancelled; you can raise an arrival claim under Section 1 if there's a problem on delivery.
  • Items bought under a festival, sale, or limited-time offer cannot be cancelled, as these are limited-occasion offers.

9. 30-Day Price Match Guarantee

We're confident TQEQ offers the best value in professional lighting. If, within 30 days of your order, you find the identical TQEQ product (same model and specifications) offered new at a lower price by an authorised seller, we'll refund the difference.

To claim, email support@tqeq.in with your Order ID and a screenshot or link to the competing offer.

Conditions: the competing listing must be for the identical new product from an authorised, reputable seller, publicly visible and verifiable at the time of your claim, and must exclude marketplace grey-market, used, refurbished, bundle, and clearance/sale prices. Verified price-match refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. TQEQ determines eligibility acting reasonably.
